Join saxophonist/composer/DJ Joseph Borsellino III and in-demand bassist Tony Irons (Blue Man Group) for Mkeka, their captivating new project featuring effects-laden textures and intricate grooves inspired by the African diaspora.

Named for the tablecloth used in Kwanzaa celebrations to symbolize foundation, history and tradition, Mkeka reflects the idea that today is built on yesterday. Rounding out the quintet are pianist Jesse Taitt, drummer Tyson Jackson and percussionist Brandon Mayes, all acclaimed composers, educators and community leaders in their own right.
