Imad Coulibaly is a Boston-based drummer and independent artist who began playing at age 4, launching his career after winning “Best Jazz Trio” at the UMass Amherst Jazz Festival and opening for the Chris Potter Quartet. He leads his own band Coulibaly, founded in 2022, which fuses jazz, fusion, hip-hop, and rock. As a live/session and touring drummer, he has worked with artists like Rugawd, Martin Gonzalez, David Mrakpor, King Chino, Dave Powell, Rob Araujo, and Vooo, while also focusing on music education to inspire drummers of all backgrounds.
