Lonnie "EL" Amado, a native Bostonian of Cape Verdean and African-American descent, has over 30 years of experience in the music industry.
Influenced by the sounds of the 70s—Soul, R&B, Disco, Jazz, Funk and Rock—his perspective broadened in the 80s with the rise of Hip-Hop, especially graffiti and DJing. These influences created a space to escape, unite and heal through sight and sound.
Amado’s work bridges generations, showing that all music is interconnected. Drawing on his vision, style and life experience, he creates soundscapes that radiate positive energy and bring people together.
