Safiya is a Boston-based jazz, neo-soul, and reggae vocalist blending Afro-Caribbean roots with rich jazz influences to create globally inspired, high-energy performances. A Boston Music Award–nominated artist, she has performed internationally and opened for Grammy Award winner Keznamdi and Caribbean stars including Konshens and Glen Washington.
