ABOUT THE ARTIST
Seba Molnar is an award-winning saxophonist, composer, and educator based in Boston, Massachusetts. Known for his dynamic performances, Molnar has shared stages with Grammy-winning artists like Ghost-Note, Keyon Harrold, Braxton Cook, Patrice Rushen, Makaya McCraven and many more. He frequently tours New England and has played at major festivals such as the Boston First Night, Bams Fest, Boston Jazz Festival and Burlington Discover Jazz Fest. In 2020, he released his debut album “Level Up.”
The Seba Molnar band is more than a group of musicians, it’s a vibrant, multidimensional, community-driven collective rooted in Boston’s creative ecosystem. The ensemble is made up of some of Boston's top players and regularly features a diverse array of special guests. While grounded in jazz, the group thrives on pushing beyond traditional boundaries. Their sound draws from funk, hip-hop, psychedelic rock, and global influences, creating an immersive, genre-bending experience that invites listeners into new sonic territory.
