Leanah is a vocalist who hails from Everett, MA. Influenced by all types of art forms and sounds such as jazz, hip hop, folklore, neo-soul, gospel, rock and more as well as poetry, storytelling and physical art; Leanah uses all these influences to create soulful, emotion invoking music. Growing up in church, singing has always been a means to resonate with people, a means to share in joy, pain and everything in between. Leanah uses her voice to do just that!

I’ve been listening to a lot of music by the Clark Sisters. Gospel is my foundation into music, and the Clark sisters are pivotal in modern contemporary gospel. I’ve also made it an effort to listen to a new album each month and this month I’ve been listening to Fly Siifu by Fly Anakin and Pink Siifu. Other artists that are always in my rotation include; Paradoxic King, CalvinKleinCaterpillar, Teatea, Saane, Karim and Shandelle!
