Hailing from Portugal, Tuna de Medicina do Porto is a celebrated musical group that blends tradition, camaraderie, and a deep passion for performance. Founded by medical students with a shared love of music, the group has grown from a small ensemble into a collective of more than 170 members, bringing the rich tradition of Portuguese tuna music to audiences around the world.
Their repertoire features reimagined classics from the 1920s–1940s, arrangements of beloved popular songs, and original compositions, all performed with remarkable energy, precision, and heart. Known as one of Portugal’s most traveled musical groups, Tuna de Medicina do Porto has shared its nostalgic and enchanting sound across five continents, released five albums, and continues to celebrate the connection between music, culture, and tradition wherever they perform.
